In order to support temperature-sensitive experiments, the Operation and Maintenance team is scheduled to perform preventative maintenance on the building’s air conditioning and exhaust system. This work will require a shutdown of individual units one at a time. Due to the short duration of the shutdown, we do not anticipate any temperature issues.
DATE: Saturday, February 8, 2025
TIME: 4:00 am – 12:30 pm.
IMPACT: Conditioned Air Shutdown – The building temperature may be slightly cooler or warmer depending on the outside air. Fume hoods may go into alarm. Our technicians will reset alarms upon completion of the work.
SAFETY IMPACT: Fume hoods will be without exhaust periodically. Please refrain from conducting experiments when the system is in alarm.
