Dear 1050B Arastradero Rd. Colleagues,
The Office of Facilities Planning and Management & Facilities Operations will be supporting a Planned Maintenance Project. Air Handler Unit # 9 Heating Hot Water & Chill Water Coil will be replaced at 1050B Arastradero Rd. roof exterior. Our contracted vendor Commercial Air Services, LLC. will be onsite starting October 30th, 2025 – November 1st, 2025 at 6:00am to 4:00pm each day until completed.
Project Dates: October 30th, 2025 – November 1st, 2025
Time: 6:00am to 4:00pm – Daily Until Completed
What to Expect:
- There will be a Crane lift to the upper exterior roof on October 31st, 2025 from 6am to 10am. {Crane Pick Plan Attached for review}
- AHU#9 will be shut down during this planned Maintenance project. Comfort Air and cooling will be limited throughout.
- Site walks will be conducted prior and Move-in-Cools will be placed in impacted areas on of the 1st floor labs and animal rooms during this planned outage
- The project is expected to be completed over the weekend on November 1st, 2025
Contracted Vendor: Commercial Air Services, LLC
Impact: Minor – 1050-B Arastradero Rd. building will be closed during the scheduled Crane Lift. Please make sure the upper Parking lot is free of vehicles during the Crane lift.
Safety Impacts: Minor – Please be aware of Crane operators and HVAC technicians and associated equipment during this project.
