The Office of Facilities Planning and Management along with its contractors is scheduled to replace the existing room temperature controller to save the cost of maintenance and improve in-house serviceability of the system.
AGC Mechanical along with Siemens Building Industry will replace existing room temperatures controllers, room thermostat and install new communication cabling for the new Siemens Building Automation platform. They will perform functional test and verification of each newly installed device for its normal operation.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Contractors will coordinate with occupants prior to accessing and replacing the above the ceiling-mounted controllers.
- Room temperature control will be offline while work is in progress. Contractors will shut off the hot water valve serving the room controller VAV terminal box to avoid overheating the space.
- Once work is completed, the room temperature will be trended to ease troubleshooting if issues arise.

Tuesday – April 08, 2025 through Friday – June 3, 2025
7:00am – 4:00pm
IMPACT:
- Room Temperature control will not be available. The space may get cold or warm while work is in progress.
- AGC/Siemens will be available onsite or remotely to respond if issues arise after installation.
