Dear Colleagues,
The Operations and Maintenance Department is planning to perform a shutdown of domestic water to the emergency eyewash/showers on the south side of the building. The shutdown is needed to make repairs to the system.
Date: Thursday, June, 11th, 2026
Time: 6:00AM to 9:00AM
Impact: All emergency eyewash/showers in 1701 Page Mill south side, 1st and 2nd floors, will be out of order during the mentioned dates and times.
Safety Impact: There will be no water to the emergency showers or eye wash stations. During this time, laboratory personnel are not to work with corrosive chemicals, chemicals that can cause permanent tissue damage or severe irritation, or are toxic by skin/eye absorption, or engage in any BSL-2 work that is not in a biosafety cabinet.
