Dear 3155 Porter Colleagues,
OFPM will be conducting preventive AHU & HVAC Duct Cleaning in the 3155 Porter building. Our vendor Alliance Environmental Group has been scheduled to start on Monday August 10th, 2026 late evenings from 8:00pm to 4:30am NIGHTLY. The initial duct cleaning work will include all the mechanical AHUs on the roof and the HVAC branch ducting throughout the building.
What to Expect:
During this scheduled cleaning there will be limited air flow throughout the building during the schedule time provided. Environmental technician will be provided access to the interior of building labs and research areas.
A detailed cleaning schedule has been attached, along with the building floor plans, for your review.
Critical areas throughout 3155 Porter Dr. will be scheduled in coordination with the respective department managers for each animal housing location. We will also coordinate access to sensitive laboratory research equipment to ensure all work is completed safely and with minimal disruption to ongoing research activities.
Schedule Duration: August 10th, 2026 – September 18th, 2026 {8:00pm to 4:30am Nightly Until Completed}
Impact: The work directly impacts the supply air to the affected areas from 8pm to 4:30am
