Dear 3155 Porter Colleagues,
The Operation and Maintenance team is scheduling to perform preventative maintenance on the building’s air conditioning and exhaust systems on the roof. This work will require us to shut down one unit at a time. Due to the short duration of the shutdown and expected cool temperatures, we do not anticipate any temperature issues. Weather forecast for Saturday is high 68 Deg.
DATE: Saturday, June 21st, 2025
TIME: 4:00 am – 12:30 pm.
IMPACT: Conditioned Air Shutdown – The building temperature may be slightly cooler or warmer depending on outside air. Fume hoods may go into alarm. Our technicians will reset alarms upon completion of the work.
SAFETY IMPACT: Fume hoods will be without exhaust periodically. Please refrain from conducting experiments when system is in alarm.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this shutdown, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Regards,
