Failure is a natural part of learning and life, but slogans like “Fail Fast” and “Fail Forward” often ring hollow in the face of real setbacks. Most of us instinctively avoid failure yet embracing it can be a powerful tool for growth.
Laura McBain, managing director of the Stanford d.school, explores how sharing favorite failures at the start of the design process can help us anticipate and navigate challenges. She’ll highlight key insights from collected stories and introduce a framework to help you take the beautiful risk of productively sharing your own failures.
