Dear, 3172 Porter Colleagues,
In support of the School of Medicine Contractor, the Operations and Maintenance department is scheduling a rolling shutdown of the building’s air conditioning systems to perform the quarterly preventive maintenance. This work will require us to shut down one unit at a time. Due to the short duration of each shutdown and early morning cool temperatures, we do not anticipate any temperature issues.
DATE: Monday, October 5, 2026
TIME: 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM
IMPACT: Conditioned Air Shutdown – The building temperature may be slightly cooler or warmer depending on the outside air.
SAFETY IMPACT: None
