Dear 3165 Porter Colleagues,
The Operation and Maintenance team is scheduled to perform preventative maintenance on the building’s conditioned air and exhaust system. The scheduled work will require a rolling shutdown of the rooftop units. Due to the short duration of the shutdown and expected cool temperatures, we do not anticipate any temperature issues. The weather forecast for Saturday shows a low of 50 degree F – 70 degree F.
DATE: Saturday, May 24th, 2025
TIME: 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
IMPACT: Conditioned Air Shutdown – The building temperature may be slightly cooler or warmer depending on outside air. Fume hoods may go into alarm. Our technicians will reset alarms upon completion of the work.
Safety Impact: Fume hoods will be without exhaust periodically. Please refrain from conducting experiments when the system is in alarm.
