During today’s weekly electrical repair meeting, our contractor provided the list of activities below scheduled for this week and in the coming weeks:
3/11/26
- Start demo and dirt excavation activities.
3/20/26
- Delivery of precast concrete pad delivery.
- Install underground electrical conduits.
- Inspection from City of Palo Alto (CoPA) electrical engineer.
4/3/26
- Backfill and concrete pour of the monolithic pad for new bus duct.
4/6/26 – 4/17/26
- Install electrical transition cabinet, pull & tap cans, and bus duct.
- Terminate, test and final CoPA inspections of electrical point-to-point connections.
- Transfer building normal power back to Palo Alto utility power from temporary generator.
- Close out project.
As early as tomorrow (3/10) temporary fencing will be installed to secure the laydown and construction areas, refer to markup below.
Construction project schedule:
While construction work is in progress near the generator area, an alternate path of travel for LN2 dewars and gas bottle delivery shall be through the rear entry door entrance located on the right side of the cooling towers – refer to mark up below:
