Dear 1701 Page Mill Colleagues,
Operations and Maintenance has been made aware of warm temperatures in certain areas of the South Side of the building, specifically in the 1st and 2nd floor lab areas, as well as in partial office spaces on the first floor. Our HVAC team has identified a failure in the cooling system of the rooftop air conditioning unit and is actively working with a School of Medicine contractor to expedite repairs and restore the system to normal operation.
IMPACT: Please be advised that comfort air temperatures may be warmer than desired due to the AC unit operating with 100% outside air throughout the repair process. We are working diligently to resolve the issue and restore normal conditions as quickly as possible.
SAFETY: None anticipated.
An update will be shared in this email thread as the situation develops.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding this unforeseen matter. If you experience any temperature issues, please do not hesitate to contact the Workflow Desk at 650-721-2146.
Best Regards,
Vincent Nino
