Dear 1070 Arastradero Colleagues,
While performing routine HVAC system checks, Operations and Maintenance Technicians identified a failed component in a rooftop air conditioning unit, which resulted in an unexpected shutdown of the A/C unit. Unfortunately, this has compromised comfort air on the 3rd floor of the building, which will remain unavailable until repairs are completed. O&M Technicians, along with a contractor from the School of Medicine, are actively working to secure replacement parts for the urgent repair and restore the system to service as quickly as possible.
An update will be provided as the situation develops.
