The Office of Facilities Planning and Management will be performing a Planned Maintenance Project on the exterior roof top of building.
Our contracted vendor Control Air Enterprises, LLC. has been solicited to remove and replaced existing exhaust fans 11, 12, & 13 on the exterior roof top:
Schedule Start Date: September 5th, 2025 Through September 7th 2025. {Weekend Work Included}.
What to Expect:
- During the scheduled project a crane lift will be conducted to the exterior roof of building on 9/6/2025 at 6:00am to 2:00pm.
- The interior of building will be closed and off limits to all staff and personnel during the schedule Crane lift.
- There will be limited access to the back parking on the south driveway due to crane location. {Please review attached Crane lift Pick Plan PDF}
- We expect the lifting to be complete before 2:00pm; however, please wait for email notification of completion.

- 2150 Open Lab Area Fume Hood Exhaust, 2150E Biology Lab, 2150F T.C. Lab
- 2154 Freezer Farm Room
- 2156 Chemical Storage
- 2158 Instrument lab
- 2160 Open Lab Area Fume hoods, 2160B Equipment Room #2, 2160C T.C. Lab, 2160D Equipment Room #1
Schedule Crane Lift: 9-6-2025 6:00am to 2:00pm
Impact: Severe- There will be limited foot traffic during this schedule crane lift. Please be aware of directional signage for safety; and safety barricades/safety cones will be visible during this schedule lift
Safety Impacts: Severe-
- Be aware of contractors and their equipment.
- Heavy equipment will be lifted from the ground level to upper roof level of the building.
- Heavy machinery will be operated.
- Use extreme caution around the heavy equipment.
