TSS will be on site to perform the testing and certification of Fume Hoods located in 1050 Arastradero A & B starting Thursday February 20, 2025 and will return daily until completed.
Impact – A brief interruption will occure when the Fume hood in your area is being tested and certified. Please keep all fume hoods unlocked and move contents away from interior exhaust so testing can be completed. If this is not possible, please ensure the hood has contact information noted of who can be contacted to unlock for testing.
Safety Impact – For your safety and the safety of the workers, please use caution when moving around the areas of the hoods being tested and certified. PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL TO NOTIFY OF ANY RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL WORK BEING DONE IN ANY HOODS.
NOTE: There is no need to be on site for the testing to occur. If access to the hood cannot be provided for TSS to complete the test, a note will be made and the hood will be tested at another time.
