1050 Arastradero – Temporary Generator Power Outage – Friday, April 3, 2026 – 11:53PM

Dear Colleagues, On Friday, April 3rd at 11:53PM, the temporary generator unexpectedly shut down and Normal Power to the building was lost. The SOM Emergency Power generator immediately started, providing power to the emergency system [red plugs]. Technicians responded and identified a control system issue that allowed the temporary generator to fail. Good Evening Colleagues, This evening Facilities received temporary generator alarms relating to DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Crystallization.  The crystal formation clogs pump, injectors and sensors that can force a generator engine failure.
