The Office of Facilities Planning and Management is pleased to share that the major repairs of Rooftop AC-1 are complete.
We now need to repair AC-2, which affects the Cyclotron space.
WHAT: Rooftop AC Unit, AC-2, will be off-line during the repair period.
Movin-Cools will be set up where needed.
WHEN: Monday, December 15 – Friday, January 9
IMPACT: While 3/4’s of the buildings HVAC System will remain operational, some spaces may be cooler in the mornings and warmer in the afternoons.
Our suggestion is to dress in layers and bring a jacket to work.
MOVIN-COOL UNITS: Our team has Movin-Cool Portable Heating and Cooling Units which we are happy to set up for your space.
VENTILATION: We may need to open some Lab Doors to introduce make-up air to spaces with Fume Hoods, as the exhaust systems will remain operational.

*Condensation is a by-product of the cooling process and is being collected in a reservoir our Plumbers have set up.
A few of the Movin-Cool Units have their Condensate Drains piped via plastic tubing to a near-by sink.
Please contact the Plumber should you experience any issues.
