Sign up for free liver scan on 12/3 at 1701 Page Mill

Dec 2, 2025 | Announcements

Hello all,

As part of a staff training, our research coordinators will be offering non-invasive ultrasound liver scans on December 3rd, 11:30am – 3:30pm at 1701 Page Mill. Please feel free to share the attached flyer and the information below with your team.

Details:

  • We are using a FibroScan (hand-held ultrasound device) which measures liver fibrosis and signs of fatty liver. Your results will be available immediately
  • For accurate medical results, please do not eat for 3 hours before your appointment
  • Please wear clothing you can comfortably sit and lie down in. We will ask you to partly lift the shirt to scan your abdomen, so please dress accordingly (e.g. shirt, not a dress). If you have any modesty requirements, let Alethea know when you sign up
  • Because this is a training, we can’t guarantee prompt appointments, but we’re happy to slack/text when it’s your turn. If you have an office or cubicle in 2nd floor north we can also come find you
  • This is NOT a research study and we will not store or share your data

If you need any special accommodations or assistance please let us know in advance so we can make sure they’re feasible.
