Dear Colleagues,
Normal power was restored to 1050A and 1050B Arastradero at approximately 4:00pm today, January 9th.
Our facilities team have assessed that all building systems are operating correctly and the building is safe for normal operations.
Please ensure fume hoods are not in alarm before using.
The process to remove the security restrictions that were in place during the outage will be complete by tomorrow morning. The security officer will stay in place at the main lobby to grant people access until normal building access is in place.
The building will be powered by a temporary generator that will operate continuously to provide power to the entire building until permanent repairs can be completed.
Permanent repairs will take several weeks. We will keep the community updated on the progress of repairs as we learn more.
