Dear Colleagues,
On Friday, April 3rd at 11:53PM, the temporary generator unexpectedly shut down and Normal Power to the building was lost. The SOM Emergency Power generator immediately started, providing power to the emergency system [red plugs].
Technicians responded and identified a control system issue that allowed the temporary generator to fail. The issue was corrected and normal [temporary] power was restored to the building at approximately 1:00AM on April 4th.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this event, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you,
