Dear Building Colleagues,
The Office of Facilities Planning and Management along with Veolia, engineering consultant will perform a feasbility study of 1050A&B building’s electrical system starting on April 17, 2026 from 8am – 4pm.
This study includes walking the interior spaces of the building, accessing tele/date/electrical/mechanical rooms, identifying equipment that requires UPS/Emergency power, and at a later date meeting with department managers to discuss e-power needs.
The goal of this study is to have an electrical design plan ready for OFPM management to review and to address departments’ UPS/e-power concerns during power failures.
Let me know if you have any questions or additional concerns.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
FRED P. ECHALUSE
Facilities Operations Engineer – OFPM
